West Point supports Biogas

Students from West Point came out this summer to learn and get hands-on experience about waste management and sustainable energy production in Uganda and Africa at large. The students have worked hand-in-hand with Green Heat to build a biogas digester that treats human faecal matter and other organic waste. This digester will generate cooking fuel and a rich organic fertilizer. Students from West Point learnt a lot from this summer trip.

It was a pleasure to work with a dedicated team of young women and men from West Point. We at Green Heat  hope experiences acquired this summer will add onto your leadership values. More to come!
